NAME:  Randy Pond
LOCATION:  Vegreville, Alberta, Canada

EQUIPMENT:  I shoot with a digital SLR, currently my body is the Canon 40D and my fave lenses are the canon 70-200mm 2.8 IS lens and the canon 50mm.  I started digital photography using a Canon g3 camera that I was able to buy with money left me by my Grandfather who passed away.  I then went to a digital Rebel SLR and after 2 different Rebels the 300 and the 350xt I got the 40D.  I also use a veriety of software to get the look I want, mainly photoshop CS3 with a variety of custom brushes, plugins, actions and textures. 
LIGHTING:  I have made an investment in alienbee gear.  I shoot with 1 ABR800 and 2 AB400’s.  I also made a homemade ring light, it’s very ghetto but was inspired by a light I saw that Ric Diaz had made as well as Nathan Elson.
STYLE: I take ideas from everywhere and everything and try new styles and techniques.  I like breaking “rules” and doing things differently.  I love adding creative and artistic touches to each edit I do.
